Śrī Lakṣmī Nṛsiṃha

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha

The main deity of the temple is Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha, Lord Vishnu in his man-lion form together with his consort Goddess Lakshmi. Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha is the fierce protector of his devotees, who appeared to save the child devotee Prahlada and destroy evil. At SLNT, devotees seek his blessings for protection, courage, and the removal of obstacles.

The temple plans to house beautiful utsava murthis (processional deities) so that each form of the Lord may be worshipped and celebrated through the year:

  • Sri Srinivasar
  • Sri Mahalakshmi
  • Sri Andal
  • Sri Sudharsanar
  • Sri Krishna
  • Sri Anjaneyar
