About the Temple

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is a religious, not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization (Tax ID# 46-3932976) registered in the State of Wisconsin, USA. The main objective of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Temple is to protect, preserve, promote, and propagate the Srivaishnava philosophy as expounded by Bhagawad Ramanujacharya and Swami Sri Vedantha Desika for future generations: to celebrate the Acharyas, Azhwars, and Lord Sriman Narayana throughout the year.

“Whoever constructs or helps to construct a temple will protect eight generations of fathers, grandfathers, and forefathers from falling into Hell” (Vamana Purana). “One who builds a beautiful temple for Lord Nrsimhadeva will be freed from all sinful reactions and he will enter the Vaikuntha planets.” (Narasimha Purana).

Temple Plan

The main shrine houses Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha. Other shrines are for Goddess Mahalakshmi, Goddess Andal, Lord Sri Sudarsana, Lord Garuda, and Lord Anjaneya.

Utsava murthis (idols of gods used during religious festivals and processions) of all the main deities are installed along with Swami Nammazhwar, Swami Thirumangai Azhwar, Bhagawad Ramanuja, and Swami Vedantha Desika. Additional Utsava murthis are installed as needed.

Our Campus

The temple stands in New Berlin, Wisconsin on a five-acre property. It is open for worship. What remains is the financial responsibility of a $1.5 million loan taken to establish this home for the Lord.

Donations help repay that loan and sustain facilities and safety for devotees: driveway, parking, restrooms, accessibility, fire and security, dining, and more.

Dedication Ceremony (Samprokshanam)

The temple's Dedication Ceremony (Samprokshanam) was celebrated over four days, June 21–24, marking a sacred milestone in our journey.
